History of Minimax Express
Minimax Express Transportation Inc. began operating on February 11, 1991. With three trucks and ten pup trailers, our mission was to provide consistent, next day, dependable, personalized LTL transportation services between Cornwall, Toronto and Montreal.
In 1992 the service area was expanded to include the
Ottawa and Brockville market.
Kingston, Belleville, Smith Falls and
Perth were later added to complete the coverage of the Eastern Ontario.
In 2002 a terminal was opened in Toronto. We
now have a team of 15 drivers, freight handlers and a terminal manager. All deliveries and pick-ups within 100km of the Greater Toronto Area are performed by Minimax employees with Minimax equipment.
In 2003, another terminal was opened in Ottawa. There a team of
10 drivers, freight handlers and terminal manager
continue to offer a high level of service within the Ottawa area.
Minimax presently operates
60 power units and 110 trailers.
Minimax is owned and operated by Paul, Yves and Marc Poirier. We will continue to offer road transportation, warehousing and logistic services, that will uniquely distinguish us from larger carriers by providing personalized, consistent next day service, late pick ups and early morning deliveries and same day expedited service, as required.
"THE MOST EFFICIENT AND BEST TRUCKING COMPANY IN EASTERN ONTARIO".
Over 500 customers rely on it.
