Our History

Today 1000 customers rely on Minimax and its team of more than 180 members to deliver their goods in Ontario and Quebec. We’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings in 1991 with 3 trucks and 10 pup trailers.

January 2011


A fourth service center is opened in Drummondville. This helps us increase our market presence in the province of Quebec. From this location we service all points in Quebec Centre, including Quebec City, Trois-Rivieres, Sherbrooke, Beauce and all points in between.

January 2010


First LCV (Long Combination Vehicle) trip between Cornwall and Toronto.

January 2008


Completed another expansion of our Cornwall warehouse. This one is 30 000 square feet.

January 2003


The Ottawa service center is opened to service the Greater Ottawa Area as far north as Pembroke.

January 2002


The Toronto service center is opened. We now have a team of 35 drivers, freight handlers and staff who handle pickups and deliveries in the Greater Toronto Area as far west as London, east to Oshawa, south to Niagara Falls and north to Barrie.

January 2000


Completed an 18 000 square foot expansion of the Cornwall head office and warehouse.
